BAIS insurance technology is excited to announce the appointment of Christopher Hatzidis to the newly created position of Head of Commercial and Product. Chris has over 25 years of hands-on experience, managing complex and difficult tasks in the technology space.
“Christopher is joining us at an amazing point in the development of our offerings and the insurance industry’s push into the digital and AI world. He brings a lot of energy and capability that will move us faster into the spaces we want to occupy.” Said David Hampton, CEO of BAIS.
BAIS has commenced work on its new Digital Workbench which will include enhanced CRM, Business Intelligence and clever digital mail room technologies. These are important developments, which Christopher will be responsible for bringing to life.
Christopher said “Now, more than ever before, the insurance industry needs solid business partners to help drive efficiency, accuracy and reduce the need to have as many people paid to do administrative rather than client relationship tasks. This becomes do-able with the latest enhancements in technology”
After a break conquering Kilimanjaro and the mountains of Nepal (see photo), Chris started on 1 November. As BAIS celebrates its 30 years partnering with the Australian insurance industry, it has its eyes firmly set on the future.
